Everyday Stories #32
It Makes Us Happy the Misinterpretation of Light
A marble stands on a pebble
A marble stands on a pebble on the beach ready to leave
Light passes through the aquamarine of the glass
Perhaps there is no better time than another
to roll away
Be it a marble, a star, an intention
the name
of a special dot of eternity
We carry our weight of colors
in a glass suitcase
Concentrated gazes
and dimples at the corners of the mouth
in the hours of play
The calendars of the soul seem so complicated at times
And it’s hard to guess which days are holidays
It makes us happy the misinterpretation of light,
the depth of turquoise,
the wonder at what is unstable
e sguardi concentrati
e fossette agli angoli della bocca
nelle ore di gioco
I calendari dell’anima paiono così complicati a volte
